Valley Dance Theatre performances take place at the Livermore High School Performing Arts Theatre at 600 Maple Street in Livermore (click here for a map). A seating chart is also available.

The 25th Anniversary Celebration performance of Valley Dance Theatre is coming up in May 2005 and will include "Masquerade," "Pas de Quatre," "Carnival of the Animals," "Sleeping Beauty," and the "Gayaneh Ballet Suite."  To encourage young people to discover the joys of dance, we invite everyone under 18 to attend FREE of charge.  (Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.)  Other tickets are priced as above. Tickets may be ordered by calling Valley Dance Theatre at (925) 243-0927. Your ticket order will be confirmed with a return call.

Performance dates are Saturday, May 28 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, May 29 at 2:00 pm.

Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, The Wedding - a wedding celebration for Princess Aurora and Prince Florimund that includes Puss-in-Boots, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, the Lilac, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Fairies, the Bluebird, and the Grand Pas de Deux. It is at once dramatic, delightful, and exquisite.

Camille Saint-Saens gift to children, Carnival of the Animals - a zoological dance delighting children with elephants, tortoises, jellyfish, birds, roosters, cuckoos, kangaroos, lions, fossils, a jackass, and a beautiful swan.

Pugni's Pas de Quatre - originally choreographed as a showcase for the four most famous ballerinas of the nineteenth century and recreated by four Valley Dance Theatre ballerinas.

Featured composer, Aram Khachaturian's, Masquerade Suite and Gayaneh Suite. Masquerade Suite - a gentleman attending a masked ball is especially captivated by one enchanting dance partner. Can he find her again among the masked crowd? Gayaneh Ballet Suite - each Valley Dance Theatre dancer at her best.
