The Nutcracker Community Show
Each December, Valley Dance Theatre's production of The Nutcracker is brought to life especially for Tri-Valley non-profit organizations. Valley Dance Theatre invites you to become a corporate or family sponsor of this exciting event.
Through tickets purchased by corporate and family sponsors, members of select non-profit organizations such as Tri-Valley Haven, Alameda County Food Bank, and the Pleasanton Meals on Wheels will have the opportunity to enjoy this spectacular holiday classic.
In addition, funds raised through the Community Performance will help Valley Dance Theatre, a non-profit organization, continue to train dancers and present professionally staged performances. Sponsors demonstrate a commitment to supporting local arts groups, enhancing their value to our community.
Kristin Reams Bettencourt Memorial Scholarship Fund
- This fund assists serious and talented dancers who are suffering a financial hardship.

Grants
- Lawrence Livermore National Security Community Gift Program in support of complimentary tickets to Valley Dance Theatre's 2009 performance of The Nutcracker for Tri-Valley Haven.
- The City of Livermore, Special Events Grant in support of attracting 5000 diner and shoppers to downtown Livermore during 2008 and 2010 Nutcracker performances at LVPAC's Bankhead Theater.
- Alameda County Arts Commission ARTSFUND and The City of Livermore in support of building new sets and to improve and expand existing sets to fill the larger stage at the new LVPAC's Bankhead Theater for it's six, performances of The Nutcracker in 2007.
- Tri-Valley Community Foundation in support of general operation for the 2006 Nutcracker. Donations to VAlley Dance Theatre are dedicated to bringing the art of dance to the Tri-Valley area.
